ROBERT B. ZOELLICK TO BE HONORED AS THE DISTINGUISHED GERMAN-AMERICAN OF THE YEAR 2011.
The WASHINGTON, DC (November 3, 2011) – Robert B. Zoellick will be honored by the German-American Heritage Foundation of the USA® as the 2011 Distinguished German-American of the YearTM. The Awards and Fundraising Gala will be held on Wednesday evening December 21, 2011 at the residence of the German Ambassador, Dr. Peter Ammon. The Deputy Foreign Minister of the Federal Republic of Germany, Dr. Werner Hoyer, will give a keynote speech in compliment to the President of the World Bank, Robert B. Zoellick.MORE

OPENING OF TRAVELING EXHIBITION "HEINRICH MELCHIOR MUHLENBERG: PATRIARCH OF THE NORTH AMERICAN CHURCH" ON JULY 12, 2011
The German-American Heritage Museum is excited to host the traveling exhibit “Heinrich Melchior Muhlenberg: Patriarch of the North American Church” from July 12 through July 31. The exhibit has been developed by the Francke Foundation of Halle, Germany to commemorate the 300th birthday of Heinrich Muhlenberg and has previously been on display at the Concordia Historical Institute in St. Louis and the Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
